Default New Comp.. IE7

I would like to install IE7 on my new comp. But how do I go about doing this? Do I burn the file from my laptop to a disk then just pop it in?

You need to access Windows Update through Internet Explorer because of ActiveX.

Otherwise go to http://www.microsoft.com/ie

Im using Windows XP Media Center.

I looked in Program Files and there was a folder with the name "internet explorer" but the only file in there was "connection wizard" and inside of that was nothing.

I looked from start and ofcourse there was nothing.

There is an icon that says Internet Explorer but I click it and a window appears with a list to choose which prog. to open it with. If I click cancel it says that the Item is unavailable.
