My friend has a computer, and it crashed. But when it restarts now, it gets to the screen offering you a selection of start-up modes. The problem is, none of these work. It gets to a certain point, and then it powers off, and restarts, and back to the same screen again. He can access the BIOS, but I'm not exactly sure how he can salvage the files on his hard drive...
