Default Looking to buy all this

Hey all

I have 2500$ can to spend and i'm about to buy these following part.
I love games and also use visual studio for programming. Any feedback on this configuration would be greatly taking in.

I'm at a total of 2226.21$ so far. also have (mouse, keyboard towerwith extra HD for girl friend included in price but not listed)

One last thing( not in to light and stuff) is 600w power too big?

That looks pretty good, but every single person on this forum is going to tell you to go with a Core 2 Duo instead of the AMD.

600W is most certainly not too much.

what about case and optical drives?

I also suggest you go with a Core 2 Duo, especially since you are a gamer. The C2D is a better fit for your needs. AMD isn't bad, but like I said, C2D is better.

You can get eVGA 7950GT KO for $337.44, it is much better than X1950pro

Tak a look at my thread I have put this together for $2,300 or so. Still waiting on parts, bought it on friday from www.newegg.com probably tuesday will arrive.

WHAT IS WITH THE CORE 2 DUO!! argh lol I run AMD, its perfect for anygame i throw at it. (just chuck the box and it worx) lol. That computer is leet man, 600watt is definitly not too much
