Default Cords?

Is this every single main part a computer needs? case, PSU, GPU, CPU, HDD, RAM, Motherboard, and DVD/CD Drive?

What cords are needed to connect it all together, besides the powercords that all connect to the PSU, and the SATA/IDE cables for the HDD and DVD/CD, what other cables are needed, even all the tiny ones, to make it all work?

Yes and no... For the most part it is, but this is a very broad question. Now of days, computers have built in sound cards, networking cards, etc etc... However, some also have built in GPUs. So it really depends on what motherboard you're talking about if you "need" all the above stuff or not.

You shouldn't need any more cables than supplied with the motherboard. But things to consider... Most IDE cables can support two drives(no more) SATA cables can only support one drive. If you get a GPU, you might need the PCI-X connector for extra power. Most new power supplies have this connector, and retail cards tend to come with a converter for it.

Um...I'm sure I could keep on going. But could you be a bit more specific ^^;

Sort of... Don't ask about just generic parts as they could use different connectors or not require some connectors. I mean some video cards use no power, a standard molex, or a 6pin PCI-X connector...

These are all the parts, its a new build. Will the PSU have all the power cords to connect to all of these parts. And the mobo comes with SATA cables, are they the right ones, and sufficient? Am I missing any cables and cords?

Thanks

Just glancing over it, you should have everything you need. The PSU has all the connectors you'd need. The mobo has IDE and SATA connectors. There shouldn't be anything else required.
