Make this pic better for me plz..

I'm attempting to make a website for my roommates band, and this is a logo thingy they came up with. If anyone is board and wants to help me, I would like to make this logo a little better, not with filters or anything, just make the edges round and proportional, make everything a little smoother. Thanks if anyone wants to help.

EDIT: The bands name is bland allison, so a text graphic would be cool too if anyone gives a crap...

are the two arrow thigns suppose to be straight or what

try making the layer into a channel, then add a little gaussian blur and then some levels until it starts to look smooth

Not necessarily straight out, just not all rugged like i have it, i drew it with ink pen in the GIMP(i do have photoshop though)

lol, sorry my roommates band is called Bland Allison. Its kinda like a b and an a put together. There is a cool pic on the myspace that someone drew and photoshopped up a little.
