Default My friend has 160 bucks to spend. What should he spend it on?

My friend has 160 bucks to spend. His setup is a stock compaq case, stock compaq motherboard (asus) amd 3200+ barton, ati x850Xt, 160GB PATA100 HD, 2 DVD burners. he has logitech x530 surround sound, a creative audigy se, logitech mx518 mouse, lotitech usb keyboard, gateway 19" widescreen lcd, and 1GB ddr 400 (non dual channel). What do you recommend he gets? he has had very bad luck with motherboard and processors. 2 bad processors and 2 bad mobo's, so he is specptical.

Talking Save $$$

If anything get another 1gb of ram and save the rest for a new system. Or just save for a new system. That's probably the best thing he can do. Before long he will have enough for a new system that will be over 5x faster than his current one.
