Okay so like I mentioned in an earlier post I was waiting for my mobo to return from gigabyte rma and I was having so overclocking problems:
More Overclocking Issues So I have it back and now its working fine. I just have a few questions; 1 - I dont have money to buy a new cpu fan at the moment so, whats the max speed I can clock it to with the stock fan? I heard about 3.0? Correct?? 2 - How will I know when I have to change my voltage? 3 - And what should I do to make sure its stable? I have 3DMark06 Basic. 4 - And what can I use to monitor how hot my cpu is and to what temperature sould it not exceed? Thanks. --- How do I delete a thead I created?

1. It differs with each individual CPU, of course, but 3Ghz sounds about right
2. Up the voltage once it becomes unstable. Be careful when using the stock cooler, though. Overvolting causes significant temperature increases. I wouldn't push the voltage too far, and always keep an eye on temperatures 3. Run two instances of Prime95 (one on each core) for a few hours 4. Try Speedfan

Idle or load? If it's a load temp, it's OK. If not - post a load temp.

is load temp when I just restart it? Or have it off for a while? Well when I restarted it, it was still at 51C.

Load temp is when the CPU is doing something (such as running two instances of Prime95). That's a little high for an idle temp. Have you already overclocked it? Overvolted it?

But, the voltage might be set on auto. So, it could be raising itself, resulting in high temps.

Also, I checked the temp and it was at 46c after sitting all night, except for the prime95 running. Are there any problems here?
