Default onboard sound + mic?

ok well i got a new mobo today (M2N-SLI Deluxe) and ive already had a shit load of problems trying to get everythink freakn fixed back normal.

and now my sound is COMPLETELY messed up!

whenever im in ventrilo and only have that window up i can talk fine some of the time. other times it wont work or if it does work its really crackely like it goes ho.w. a.r.eeeee y.o.u like theres alot of pauses in there.

whenever i go play a game (BF2142) the mic drops out and wont work. whenever i press the button for someone to hear me the mic wont like click on.

whenever i change windows (from vent to anything else) it does like it does above where it wont click on.

it was a damn pain to get the sound to play through the headset and the mic to work SOME of the time.

I want to get it where i put the headset into the green port (front speakers) and the mic in the pin port (mic port) and leave the orange and black alone and only have to change out the green port.

this is what i did with my old mobo (A8N-E) if i wanted the sound going through my headset i just unplugged my front speakers and plugged the headset into it and whenever i wanted the sound from all my speakers i unpluged my mic and plugged in the front speakers.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP DEAR GOD
