So, I just got a killer deal on a combo of mobo and processor and it was bundled with the E6300. Which is by no means a bad processor at all, but after much debate I think I am going to go for the E6600.
This is a retail box CPU and comes with a heatsink and fan and the standard warranty. It has never been opened at all. Here is a link for the going rate off of newegg.com http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115005 I am thinking around $175.00 shipped (lower 48 states only, anywhere else shipping charges will apply) is a good deal for it considering it has never ever once been opened. You'd save around 10 ~ 15 dollars from the deal on newegg. I know that there is a local computer store that I can trade this in and they were offering me around 150 credit towards a new processor. no idea if he will still honor it, talked with him over a month ago, and I honestly think he is kind of a jerk. So, I would rather give someone else my business first.
*EDIT* I type too fast sometimes...I meant to type 150 credit, anyways if someone wants it post here, otherwise I will probably check out the trade in option. Last edited by tlarkin; 12-21-2006 at 07:19 PM. |
