Ive been reading reviews on the klipsch pro media ultra and the logitech z5500 speakers. I have read that the klipsch has an amazing bass, but the amp in it burns out really quick, it also doesnt have a digital output, does this affect the sound much? I was wondering which would be the better buy?

if you can find a z5500 new, jump on it
i listened to everything i could find and ended up with the z5500's over two years ago, and they're still amazing have you HEARD them? i wont argue that the klipsch speakers have nice bass, but whoever described them as 'amazing' certainly wasn't doing so in direct comparison to the 5500's, trust me ![]() |

How about Definitive? and if you want THE best sound quality, get a home theator system.... sure, go ahead and compare your system to my home theator system.... Mine was REALLY expensive, but it's still MUCH better then ANY PC set |

Have you HEARD the Klipsch?
Personally, I'd say they both are about equal.
