Default Which one?¿

Ive been reading reviews on the klipsch pro media ultra and the logitech z5500 speakers. I have read that the klipsch has an amazing bass, but the amp in it burns out really quick, it also doesnt have a digital output, does this affect the sound much? I was wondering which would be the better buy?

if you can find a z5500 new, jump on it

i listened to everything i could find and ended up with the z5500's over two years ago, and they're still amazing

have you HEARD them?

i wont argue that the klipsch speakers have nice bass, but whoever described them as 'amazing' certainly wasn't doing so in direct comparison to the 5500's, trust me

How about Definitive?

and if you want THE best sound quality, get a home theator system.... sure, go ahead and compare your system to my home theator system.... Mine was REALLY expensive, but it's still MUCH better then ANY PC set

Have you HEARD the Klipsch?

Personally, I'd say they both are about equal.

so get the pro's with a replacement plan

but i'll take the lower f3 rolloff and smoother output of my 10 over the higher peak output of 8's any day
