my gf just turned her ipod on and it has no music on. which is really strange as she never puts new music on it and its not just got no music. has this happened to anyone?
its an old ipod mini and its pink Crazy! |

i think theres a recovery method when u press certain buttons, but dont remmeber wat buttons to press... forgot. try to look into that. lol

try. play/pause button && center button or menu && center button either or, try holding for acouple seconds look at screen for status

did you try to plug it into a different computer? Sometimes it can be synced to the other computer's music automatically, getting rid of the files.

Have you tried to plug it into a computer and make sure the drive is still working? If it was flash based, I could see the music just disappearing(that's happened with one of my USB flash drives before!) But with an HD based unit, that really shouldn't happen unless the data got corrupt somehow or the internal drive died... But then again, I don't know that much about ipods...

well its only ever been plugged into one computer for the last 8 months and also it seems that the internet drive died. im 300 miles away from the computer so i cant really do anything till after christmas. i'll look into it more. thanks for the help :-)
