Default Serious! Do I have a sound card?

I'm a webmaster, not a computer tech, so please understand that I know nothing... Alright so i've tried and tried to get sound, but no luck. I don't think its the speakers but I could be wrong.

Here are the specs for my computer: So much detail i'm surprised it doesnt have my credit card number and social number.

My computer specs --> http://www.bikersguide.org/mycompinfo.htm

Do I have a sound card, and should I be able to play sound? I'm confused because it appears I don't have any windows audio.

Alrights, thanks in advanced!

Check if your audio is muted firstly...Should be a little speaker icon down in the left bottom by your clock,If you cant see the little icon go into control panel and you should see a icon saying "sound and audio devices"....You should be able to unmute them from there.

If its not muted then you probably dont have the audio drivers instaled.
I think you have intergrated graphics like me because mines AC 97.

PCI / PnP Audio

Device Description Type

Intel 82801BA ICH2X - AC'97 Audio Controller [B-0] PCI

if you can plug your speakers into your computer, you have a sound card, integrated or not...

try getting new drivers
