On one of the first pages someone was asking for a free utility for recovering files PCI File recovery is good.

http://www.pcinspector.de/Sites/file...htm?language=1

and I found some good free encryption software called TrueCrypt which can encrypt your whlole HDD and ask you for a password when you start windows.

To some one that was wondering about these kinds of products but did not know what to look for or where to look this would be a great resource for them to use. but to the people that are on computers everyday it does not really help

But overall I give you major props for putting a list like this together it must have took alot of work

Sandboxie: Introducing Sandboxie: Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer.

Benefits of the Isolated Sandbox
  • Secure Web Browsing: Running your Web browser under the protection of Sandboxie means that all malicious software downloaded by the browser is trapped in the sandbox and can be discarded trivially.
  • Enhanced Privacy: Browsing history, cookies, and cached temporary files collected while Web browsing stay in the sandbox and don't leak into Windows.
  • Secure E-mail: Viruses and other malicious software that might be hiding in your email can't break out of the sandbox and can't infect your real system.
  • Windows Stays Lean: Prevent wear-and-tear in Windows by installing software into an isolated sandbox.
I guess, this might contribute to the Freeware list.
