it is under boot proity, not under removable devices only floppy disk, and under the ide config:
primary ide master- quantum fireball as
primary ide slave-not installed
secondary ide master-not installed
secondary ide slave- not installed

i dont think its in stalled cause under removable devices in the bios, it only list the floppy drive

the thing you can do now i think is.
1. check cdrom IDE cable or jumpers
2. have a bootable floppy for the cdrom drivers

It might be old, but you still have to pay for windows 98, and thats why its not working because you downloaded it. If you say you have the full. Just use the full.

You have two options, go out and buy a copy of windows (xp?) and install it. It should work perfectly then, or download a distro of Linux. Personaly, I would suggest Ubunutu.
