Post I messed up help?

I just built myself a desktop and I must be doing something wrong because there are a lot of problems.

a) I think I've done something wrong... because heres how it goes... floppy is a:, c: is a removable device which I supposibly have but cant see where... and D: is my dvd drive and my harddrive is an e:... does anyone know how to make my harddrive to c:?

Go to the boot and change the settings, and switch your hard drive

I have a problem, the current setup that I have it one pata dvd drive and one sata harddrive.. the thing is.... in load screen I see that my primary ide isnt detected and secondary master goes to the dvd and the harddrive is listed as the third ide... how to I change my hdd as my primary ide...

when you go to the boot mode it gives you the option which HD you want as primary and which one as secondary

I Know how to change the drive letter of your Hard Drive if that is what your trying to do.

Start > Control Panel > Administriative Tools > Computer Managment
Then under storage, click disk managment, right click on the hard drive and then Change drive letter and paths

actually I just reformated my computer and now it's c:, now how to figure out how to change my harddrive which is listed as third ide to switched to primary. the bios is confusing and doesnt seem to have an options of changing it
