Default RAM and COmputer Clock problems

gday guys i just bought a HP Omnibook 6000 (700mhz, 10 gig, 128 ram) and they guy i bought it off gave me a 60mb stick of ram to put in there but the computer wont reconise it, any suggestions?

Also

The computer clock keeps changing everytime i disconnect the power cord, does anyone know how i could fix this.
