Default Resolution Comparison

Was wondering if you guys would go for 1920x1200 (Wide) or 1920x1080 (Wide) for game video display resolutions? the x1080 seems to show more left to right, and the x1200 shows less left to right but more top to bottom.

Just a quick answer as 1920x1200 (Wide) or 1920x1080 (Wide) is good enough.

1920x1080 is the res used on HD ready TV's not full HD though, only 1080p (not i) 1920x1200 is the res used on most PC's going to that high resolution.

1920x1200 is classed as WUXGA in 16:10
1920x1080 is 16:9

Seeing as both have the same horizontal dimension, i cant see how either would show more "left to right" as you put it, they would be the same. The only difference is "top to bottom" where 1920x1200 comes off better.

I would choose 1920x1200 out of those 2
