Default removing write protect on mmc

When I try to delete a file in my Ridata mmc card, it says I can't 'cause it's write-protected. I'm using a card reader. I can access the files, but I can't delete anything, even though it's full I've looked at the card carefully to see if there's a write-protect lock but there isn't any. What should I do?
