Default How long do you leave your computer on for?

How long do you guys leave your computers on for?

Is it fine for the equipment if you leave it on all day? Because i like to get up and turn my pc on ,and leave it on untill i go to bed, cause i get on and off of it quite frequently. So will it ruin the equipment if i leave it on all day. I dont think it will, but i just want to make sure.

Mine's on and folding 24/7. It won't ruin anything as long as it stays cool.

Mines on and folding 24/7 as well. 100% CPU and Video card usage all the time. I do reboot my computer every week or so, just for good measure. As long as you have adequate cooling, you should be fine.

As long as it doesn't overheat or anything, it really shouldn't matter. I leave mine on all day and shut it down at night(or if I'm gone for over an hour) However, I used to leave my computers on 24/7. Dad does with his, but he also leaves it rendering videos and such over night.

I cant even remember the last time i shut any of mine down. I think it was in early November, but it may have been sooner. Like everyone else said keep it cool and there should be no issues.
