Default re-installing hd using images from ghost

ok, now i did it!.....i have xp home in my dell computer and i used ghost to create an entire hard drive back up (win xp home) which i placed on 2 dvd's......then, i used system commander and attempted to install win me (to run an old game) as an additional operating system.....after many attempts, win me hangs and screen goes blank and that is "all she wrote".

.....i have ghost on cd and the two dvd's containing the image files....how the heck do i restore my hard drive w/o having to wipe it all out and start from scratch??......everytime i boot up, it brings me to the win me screen and in effect says that win me hasn't loaded fully and as a result, i cannot get back into win xp home.

....i have placed each of the image files dvd's in the dvd drive and attempted to boot up and it still says that win me hasn't been fully installed yet...i have placed the ghost cd in the cd rom drive and not a damn thing happens.......so, what am i doing wrong and how do i get back to win xp home?...i really need the help on this one!.....thanks!
