Could you elaborate a little more on your exact problem?

I think he means folders that dont give him permission to delete. As long as they arent system ones with DLLs in them, then use a program like Unlocker.

depends on what's in it

xp has a lot of locked folders that can't be deleted, such as "xerox" "outlook" and a few others. best just to make it invisible and forget about it

if it's a folder with a long name (p2p hacker bs) like "full_movie_in_dvd_i_bet_you_will_have_a_hard_time _deleting_me_128kbit_divx_blahblahblah_featuring_n otorious_big"
try simply renaming the folder, and the files inside to short titles like "b" and "a" and then trying again. windows can't access folders and files with really long pathnames, and most of them were created with macs or linux machines.

also, it could simply just be a busy file (being used by the system) in which case a program like unlocker, as mentioned above, should take care of it.

locked files/folders can be a huge pita, tho, hope you get it taken care of

ah, it's the 2nd one, then

rename the folder and file to one word titles, and then try deleting it again
