Okay, so my aunt and cousin just got a new dell computer and a new hunting game to play on it. The game is Cabela's African Safari and it used to work fine, but the other day, it started to not work. Everytime the games is loaded, a message appears on the screen that says that the moniter is out of frequency range. Ive messed around with the resolution and the refresh rate, nothing seems to work. I think there may be a certain resolution that I will need to use, but I dont know what it is. I couldbe completely wrong, Im not very proficient with computers.
Computer Specs: Processor: AMD Sempron 3400+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8 GHz Memory: 512 mb Video Card:NVIDIA GeForce 6150le Audio: SigmaTel Audio OS:Microsoft XP Home Edition CD/DVD Drive: TSS Tcorp CDRWDVD TS-H493A DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c Game: Cabela's African Safari THANKS!~ |

Do you still hear audio from the game? It sounds like someone's set the resolution too high within the game and it's beyond what the computer can handle. Most games either have a Safe Mode that limits them to low settings, or you simply need to find the configuration file for the game and remove it.
