Default ethernet port faster?

my ethernet is plugged into my DS3.
if i get an ethernet card or something, will my internet be faster?

current ISP.
DSL
downloading up to 6mb uploading 400+

What more do you want me to say? You're internet is 6Mbps max, correct? That's obviously less than 1000Mbps. I assume that's your current NIC(s) speed(s). Also most routers have a 10Mbps WAN port, as do many modems. Plus, you said yourself your service is 6Mbps.

Oh, and this question is asked pretty frequently. Next time you should try searching the forum before posting.
