Default Computer won't boot

Hey guys, a couple months ago my computer was having problems booting and often crashes... I thought it was a virus, but reformatting it did not fix it. I tried using another stick of ram, did not work, so I used my harddrive in someone else's computer and it worked fine. Since then I was using that other computer, but I finally got around to buying a new mobo and processor (Asus a7n8x-x and AMD barton 2500+) I installed it all today, tried to boot, and it can't get into windows even in safe mode. It reboots as it gets to the windows booting screen. Any idea what the hell this could be? I thought I had tried everything. Thanks.
