that use U files? I believe almost all freeware games use a .exe no?
the only game related usage of a file with a .u extension is a data file from unreal tournament(Epic Games)it could also be be part of a three-split file used by Quicktime(file is split in y u z and the parts, when joined together, make the entire thing)
