damn. pimpfish hasnt worked/ any more ideas or links? are there some videos that cannot be saved? i take it this must be the case for this video but i really need it! thanks!

Just get a screen recorder OR Star Down loader. you can download and save movies That are not even download allowed videos like on YouTube by browser integration. Simple yet powerful. Amazing, but free. Also downloads things faster than even firefox!

There is an easier way to do that. And it works for any video.
It works with HTML. Basically you're going to make a link, to the video you want to download and right-click "save-as" the link.

For this video (which is in .swf format):

Quote:
<a href="http://ayrshire.creativecow.net/articles/kramer_andrew/nano/index.swf> your link</a>
View it in a browser and save the link.

You can download any video with that script, just look in the source for the URL of the video and change the adress in the link.

You can do this for mp3 too. Just change the URL (Keep the http://www. all the time)
