Default What did I do to my screen?

Ok...I'm feeling really stupid right now because I don't know what I did to screw this up. I must have changed something because now whenever I open up a web page it always shows up on my screen as being restored down. It only fills less than half of my screen. I can click on the maximize square and the page does then fill the screen but I want to page to be full as soon as it opens. It used to be like that until yesterday. I can put my pointer onto the edges of the page and pull it open to full size but when I X out of the page and open it again it once again is restored down.

So....what do I need to do to get back to the way it was?

Feeling stupid

Instead of maximising it, drag out the corners to full screen and click close.
Try again.

Yeah...I tried that and again it will pull the page to fill the screen but when I X out of the page...the next time I open a page it is right back to being smaller again.

Try this from the "ELDER GEEKS SITE"

Open a single Internet Explorer window to the smaller size.
Drag the corners of the window until it completely fills the screen. Do not use the maximize button to enlarge the window.
Hold down the Ctrl key, keep it depressed, and using the mouse click File and then Exit on the menu bar. Do not use the "X" in the upper right corner to close the window.
Internet Explorer should now open in a full window.
If it still opens to a smaller size repeat the above instructions, substituting the "Shift" key for the "Ctrl" key.

I'm using Internet Explorer 7 and when I open up a page it does not have "file" in the menu bar.

By the way...whenever I open a page like "MY PICTURES" or "MY DOCUMENTS" they are large in size. It's only when I open web pages that they are smaller.

Go to tools in IE7 and put a tick against Menu Bar, you will have a File dropdown then. You can always turn it off later

Thanks TFT ..I did that but holding the shift or Ctrl keys didnt do the trick either. I've tried re booting to see if that would do any good but nothing has helped so far.

Hey hey hey. That works! The pages still open small but about a second later they do open to full size. So thanks so much for the help.

I'm still puzzled as to what happened though.
