when i overclock my auido drivers disappear?

if i overclock my cpu my sound card will not work and i have to uninstall everything and do it over ? wtf. it will not find the drivers . they were installed and working fine before the overclock. why is this happening?

i went from 2.13 or something like that to 2.6 on a core 2 duo e6400 and it runs fine . very stable . i am reading that this is a common prob with the sound card.... but it wont find the drivers on the disk when i put it in to search for them through the device mgr?
