Start > Run > Type "cmd" (without the quotes) and hit enter. The Command prompt opens up, type "ipconfig" (without the quotes) and hit enter.

Edit: If you are part of a network it may not show your external IP address, but your internal (network) address. If you are behind a firewall it may also show a different IP address.
