I am an IT student.
IT degrees tend to be very broad in scope, covering a little of each aspect of computing technologies. After nearly completing my degree with U of Phoenix, Network Administration interests me the most and seems to fit my talents the best. At this point, I am looking for advice on how to proceed to get my career with computers started. This is my current path I have planned once I finish my degree program in chronological order. A+ Cert Network+ Cert CCNA Cert ...and add from there. Is there anyone with educated or experienced advice that can help point me in the right direction? Tips? From a book that I read, "What All Network Administrators Know" it looks like I may need to start from a lower position such as Helpdesk or Systems Analysis, which I can understand based on the complexities and responsibilities that go along with the profession. Thanks! |
