I won both of the video cards on ebay. The 7600 has more GDDR2 but the 6800 has GDDR3.
I also noticed the the 6800 has a higher memory clock. but the 6800 only supports openGL 1.5 while the 7600 supports 2.0 So which one?

when Im looking at that, i'd say the 7600GS hands down.. but there it say's the 7600GS has 400MHz mem clock, and the 6800XT only 350

Actually, it looks like the 6800XT beats the 7600GS every time in this guide:

so i should go with the 7600, it doesnt even have active cooling just a heatsink. Will that become to warm?

The stock heatsink is designed to sufficiently cool the card. It will probably become warm, but not too hot.
