you could try some extremely fine sandpaper.
i mirror finish my cpu with the stuff ![]() you'll want 3000grit or higher if its for cosmetic purposes. 2000grit is fine for me though. you could try some buffering cream though.... or if you can a jewelers buffering tools.

Try a bit of slightly wet newspaper and rub it over the screen and body of the ipod. I tryed it on my ipod and it seems to have helped quite a bit.
But you can also by scratch removing kits on the internet. |

is it on the back?
Because that is just like a mirror basically. Take a little dab of water, put it on a paper towel, and softly wipe the back, works for me
