how do i install the driver without freezing my computer

I used to have one, much better then the G5 in my opinion.

And you dont need the software, the buttons are detected right away.

what type of mouse pad do you reccomend?
lol
cause iam using one with a wrist thing and its hard to maneuver

It seems logitech sent out a bunch of badly burned driver disks because my g7 disk also frose my pc. I just downloaded the driver off of logitech's website, and everything went smoothly.

As for a mouse mat, you shouldnt really need one considering its an optical mouse.

Same thing happened with installing my g15 but solved it with hooking another keyborad in, hooked another mouse it did the same thing.

i'm using mx518 and i'm haven't had any trouble with the software that came with it.
