Don't you mean they are? They aren't split. They are actually working on a new album.

i wouldn't even know, the local airwaves here in ohio have been completely dominated by emo

i've been altogether completely disenchanted with music as a whole for the last few years

the 2002/2003 popularity of the 'the' bands was like the last escaping breathe of half way inspired music

all that's left now is regurgitated emulations of prior bands, and commercially-engineered pop music

i'm usually not one to bitch about the changing times in the music industry, but as of late, it seems like the entire industry has fallen into some sort of discoesque black hole, completely absent of inspiration or originality

and sadly, the only real musical counterculture that still exists is the hundreds upon hundreds of obscure metal subgenres, who's popularity is too diversified and sporatic to ever achieve any sort of widespread commercial success, or even public attention on a large enough scale to stop the popularity of american idol, teeny bopper, prearranged, corporate, mind-numbing bullshit music that i have to listen to if i find myself in the unfortunate situation of having only the radio to listen to

Beatles are my all time favorite band, but for some reason I keep coming back to Ride The Lightning...........I know its odd, I cant explain it either. My favorite Beatles album is Abby Road, the The White Album

"The Gallery" by Dark Tranquillity

An absolute Melodic Death Metal classic, I am literally in love with this CD. Swedish metal at its finest here.

If you like metal than you will like that CD, just be prepared for screaming vocals.
