Default wireless not working now

Hi,

I setup a friends laptop yesterday to go wireless and I left with everything working. She went on it for 2/3 hours and called this morning and said it is connecting but internet says page cannot be displayed on everything

Any ideas?

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but did you ask here to see what her signal strength was? I know there has been many times when I didnt realize how weak my signal was

This happens constantly with wireless networks. Every single wireless network I have worked with has seen this happen. And I have yet to find a real cure. Here are some things to try:

1. Restart the computer
2. Restart the router
3. Reinstall the adapter drivers
4. Update router firmware
5. Change the broadcast channel
6. Try everything.

Probably connected to the router, but not the service. If this is true then in the wireless staus>support then the ip adress may something like 0.0.0.0 or w/e. Turn everything off then switch on in the following order- Modem,Router,Laptop. And check the key.
