Ok,
budget: £200 Requirements: err a digital camera not with the huge slr lens on, preferably a nice smallish size (although not to the point where you start paying extra for its tiny compactness) Needs to be from a uk supplier...dont care who as long as they deliver Does anyone have any recommendation as I know jack all about cameras Thanks guys

you may want to try jessops, apart from being one of the main camera specialists inside the UK, they also have MEGA good january sales on.... lemme link you to a couple i came across that i thought were rather good
Basically good thigns to look for are a decent optical zoom, NOT digital, that sucks big time. The higher the megapixel rating of the iamge sensor the more detailed the images will be, or rather the higher the MP is the larger the resolution can be on the images taken. Memory expansion, internal memory is nothing now, manufacturers just odn't bother because thigns like SD cards are just so cheap it doesnt matter if you have to buy an additional 1Gb card to shove in the side of it. So heres a few... __________________________________________________ __ THE PENTAX OPTIO A20 3x Optical Zoom ![]() 4x Digital Zoom 10 MegaPixel Sensor £199.99 IMAGE FRONT IMAGE BACK __________________________________________________ __ THE CANON IXUS-60 3x Optical Zoom 4x Digitial Zoom 6 MegaPixel Sensor Alot nicer looking than others Extremely large LCD on the back, very nice! ![]() £199.99 IMAGE FRONT IMAGE BACK __________________________________________________ __ THE CANON POWERSHOT A710 6x Optical Zoom ![]() 4x Digital Zoom 7 MegaPixel Sensor Probably mid-range with regards to look but the zoom is a lot nicer than others in the same price range £199.99 IMAGE FRONT IMAGE BACK __________________________________________________ __ Hope this helps a bit, dragon2309
