problem with catalyst control centre

ok, so ive just reinstalled windows on my laptop and have installed the latest ATI drivers and catalyst, logged on as administrator as there are no other registered users.
now, i cant get into the catalyst control centre, it says i have insuffucient administrator privaleges... is there any way to override this? or any help anyone can give me? cheers.
they are the correct graphics drivers by the way, im not that thick
