Hello, I'm planning to buy a laptop at around $500-$600 (more or less). Im planning to watch movies/listen to music, use internet, upload pictures/videos from my camera, upload mp3s/videos to my video mp3 player, convert videos, burn dvds/cds and run other basic applications. I want it to run pretty fast (I probably would not multi-task too much though), and have a decent amount of hardrive space (at least 60gigs, I prefer 80+gigs).
Can anyone recommend me on what I should look for? I know alot about desktops, but when it comes to laptops, I know almost nothing. I checked Dell, and I found this $619 Inspiron 1501: Mobile AMD Sempron™ 3500+ (1.8GHz/512KB) 512MB DDR2 SDRAM 533MHZ, 1 DIMM 60GB Hard Drive ATI RADEON® Xpress1150 256MB HyperMemory™ (Integrated) Is that any good?
