I don't know what you mean... Maybe you have some spyware or some virus'.

Your computer may actually be starting up, it's just taking ages?

I'm sorry, I'm not really literate when it comes to computer language. I have Windows XP and you know when you turn it on the Green XP page that comes up with the graph that shows it is coming up comes on. That green page just stays there (I left it on all nite), the bar graph never comes on......any suggestions on what I can do?

Is that what it stays on, or is it that minus the green bar in the middle?

The only thing I can think of that may fix it is to put your XP CD in and boot from that and put a fresh install of XP on...

If there's anything important on your Hard Drive that you need you'll have to see if you can put it in somebody elses machine and copy whatever is still needed...

So you get the flag and the XP text, thats it?

Like I said, All I can suggest is to put XP back on, I don't know if anybody else has any other ideas? Maybe check your BIOS to see if anything has changed or if it's how it should be?
