Unhappy HD wire???

I have an asrock Conroe Xfire - eSata 2 Mobo with 7.1 onbaord hd audio, there is a thin black and blue wire which is plugged onto my mobo and in the manual says to connect to the vga card but there is nowhere on my gpu to plug it into, does this mean my gpu isnt compatible with hd audio or something???? and will i still get hd audio through my onboard sound without this connected? Thanks in advance!

Is there anyway you could post a picture of the wire you're talking about? Or even take a picture of newegg and circle the wire and/or where it's suppose to plug in?

A new feature about 775Dual-VSTA is the designed HDMI_SPDIF header onboard. If you were a die-hard fanof ASRock, you probably haven’t seen this HDMI_SPDIF header before. This new header provides SPDIF audio output to HDMI VGA card, and allows the system to connect HDMI Digital TV/projector/LCD devices. For installation, please check the manual.
Unless you plan to use the HDMI connection(if you're video card supports it) I wouldn't even connect it.
