Logitech X530 5.1

I purchased these today and if i have the volume knob its lowest theres a buzzing static type of noise coming from the speakers and it doesnt go away until i turn it up a bit but this means i cant listen to music quietly because i get this horrible noise, anyone know what could be causing this?

what kind of sound card do u have?

if you have x-fi try switching between entertainment and game mode, it will fix my buzzing problems.

Onboard HD 7.1, i found this on logitechs website.....http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.com...i=&p_topview=1 so i think ill be going for a refund, anyone know any others to get in replace???

I have just unplugged the three cables from my onboard sound and ......The buzzing has gone so i take it, it's the onboard sound causing this proplem, I have just tried my old creative soundblaster live 5.1 soundcard and it works fine with no noise so ill have to stick this in for the time being, whats a good soundcard to get when i have some money????? prefrebly 7.1 even though im using 5.1 lol and HD like my noisy onboard one lol???
