Default wood pc heating issues?

I cant decide what to do im thinking about ordering a pc case for 20 bucks off the net. or im thinking about building me a case from wood that way i can make it the i really want it but i was reading some forums and some people were saying why they wouldnt go wood cause of heating issues? is this true? if i build a wood pc case will it run hotter than a metal case?i wanna air cool it but im looking into getting a water cooled pc in the future. Could i use wood and still overclock my pc if i wanted to?

The metal conducts the heat much better than a wood case. Wood cases do not cool very well, unless you install the proper amount of fans and whatnot.
