Question Sound card and headphones

anyone got some recommendation of makes for both of these items? i want some better sounds and i want a new sound card. all i have at the mo is a built in dell sound card.

its all right but i would like something else. thanks! also what do you guys have?

Um, try a card from the X-fi series.... I myself just got the XtremeGamer and although I don't notice TOO much of a difference game wise from my Audigy 2 value, you definitely get better music playback...... As for headphones, it's really hard to recommend a good brand since there are so many manufactures and models out there....... Although, keep in mind, you're going to get what you paid for; cheap headphones come at the price of bass.....

thanks for the reccomendation and it really is for better music playback. i need some good sound! the sound cards seem pretty cool also. thanks!

Save yourself $50 and go for the XtremeMusic instead of XtremeGamer.....

thanks man! will do. ive been looking ta headphones and i think i might just get some sony ones! they always make good stuff so reckon i'll just get some of them! thanks man!
