Blueyonder are hosting the site and it seems that im not the only Blueyonder user to be hacked as I was looking through my coding for my site how they managed to get inis still a mystery they would have to of known the login info for the control panal or known the FTP info either way its been dealt with now and the site is now safe to go back onto il just have to change all the login info and hope it doesnt happen again.

thats probably your best bet, blueyonder hasnt had any security problems, so it may just be a solo incident, was your password/settings easy to get into?

s_m_w_d, you had some bad stuff on your site. I took a look when you first posted, I've been playing around with it for the last couple of hours. I found 12 trojans, a worm, a rootkit, a dialler and a load of adware crap, plus a virus I had to get rid of manually. IE was running on bootup downloading more crap, and taskmanager had been disabled. Might be an idea to run a couple of scans to make sure nothing got past your security programs.

HAHAHAHA so they'd have you believe, I cant say are passwords are weak but I dont see how they got them.they were using another site to host pages then putting thousands of links on my index.html but god knows how many other sites they affected but it seems to be ones hosted by blueyonder it wasnt that bad anyway it was just links on the index page so I have a backup copy of the site so I deleted the one on the server and replaced it,I didnt even bother reporting it to blueyonder they probably wouldnt do anything about it anyway.

For the record im really really sorry to Dragon2309 who I havent spoken to in days now cause he was so pissed at me and to you aswell Buzz, to tell you the truth I havent even ran a scan since AntiVir caught all the virus's when I was going on the site and my computer has been fine no virus's or diallers all has been resolved now but im sorry to the inconvence although I hold Blueyonder and the hackers responsible.
