I don't know man... I looked around and I can't find squat about it! However, but the price and online specs I found about he laptop, I'd say it's a Celeron.

AX2 kinds of sounds like it's Dell's name for an Athlon X2. Being a laptop it may be a turion x2 @1600MHz

DUH... http://outlet.dell.com/Emea_Dfo/EuDi...!1168226335735 (if that'll work)

Strange thing is when I was searching for info on that laptop, I was finding much older machines... I know Dell uses some AMDs, but I thought the laptop was before they began using them.

Stranglehold & myself were right. It is a Turion 64 X2 TL52 1.6GHz. Then TOO linked it on the dell site (doesn't seem to work for me now but it did yesterday). Turions are decent processors and will be plently for web surfing.
