Default Paintball + Camera

If u can make sense of that, i want to basically bring a camera when i go play paintball this weekend. Not like a video recorder, just pics.

I was going to bring my digital camera and take pics on the field (obviously hide it when getting shot at). Do u guys think if the camera was inside the case, and in my pocket, that it could break if it got shot? Thats really what im affraid of is getting shot at it. Maybe any other ideas of what i could do to protect it?

It really depends on the camera and where it's shot... Some camera's don't have much protection over the LCD and I suspect it would crack if it was shot. However, if just some random portion of the case was shot, it SHOULD be alright.

But then again, I've never played paintball

i know its pretty sick ehh?

and ya im sure the lens would be the only thing breakable on it. i mean, u can shoot at tents and they dont rip. so its not like they are the most destructive thing in the world but if hit in the right spot, probly can be a bit of an issue

i take it you havent been shot in the ribs with one then..... they hit hard, a tent moves to absorb the energy, skin and bones dont.... neither do lenses or LCD's, face the LCD on the back inwards, say, ONTO your log and hope for the best with the lens, perhaps make or take a small flat piece of wood and put it facing outwards in between the camera and your pocket.... it should be fine...

yeah, do not use cardboard. Me and my friends got bored one day of just having 2 v 2 matches so we wrapped my friends little bro in a bunch of cardbox boxes and unloaded a good thousand rounds on him.... Lets just say the cardboard started falling off after the first shot.

ya, no cardboard. we took and shot at some old cardboard boxes this summer and the first shot went straight through both sides of the box.
