Default Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Im trying to fix my friends computer and i cant figure out whats wrong. Whenever i try to open up her "Mt Pictures" folder i get an error saying:

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

program C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

soooo ummmm i was told that another program is managing this folder, or something close to that, but i dont know how to find the program. Do i just use Ctr + Alt + Del ??? I dont see any suspicious programs when i do use it though.

HELP!!!
