Default My System32 folder has disapeared and cant find it to reinstall a file

Need to reinstall a DLL. but cannot find it, searched through C:\WINDOWS\ but SYSTEM32 folder is not there, where can i find it or to retreive it again, any help will be much appreciated!

Did you try to re-installing windows or what ever op. system you have

Nah i dont have my windows CD any other way of doing it?

it has to be physically there, or the computer wouldn't be running. Did you try typing in C:\WINDOWS\system32 in the address bar instead of just searching for it?

Try this little trick...

Open command prompt and type: "attrib -a -h -r -s c:\windows\system32"

type without the quotation marks though.

Now you should see your system 32 folder.
