Default Does a program like this exist??

Is there a way to scan a page with printed words on it, and turn in into a text document without haveing to type the whole thing?

Please if you dont know, give me examples of things to search in google or something.

Thanks

I personally haven't done this, but it might be able to be done. Here's a search:

Google Search: scan to text

that's different

that's for acrobat documents with embedded text, not adobe documents that are simply pictures

and ocr isn't foolproof. i'd spellcheck it...... twice..... you'll see what i mean

Also, it usually doesn't end up formatted quite right, either
