Default overclock this thing?

i have a dell 210L with a couple of problems re: loading win me on a fat32 partition and have posted a thread or two presently. however, while looking around with a program at my computer, i came up with the following information about my processor;
Processor Number 1
Socket Designation Microprocessor
Processor Type Central Processor
Processor Family Pentium(R) 4 Processor
Processor Manufacturer Intel
Processor ID BF EB FB FF 00 00 0F 49
Processor Version
Voltage 1.400000V
External Clock 800MHz
Maximum Speed 4000MHz
Current Speed 3000MHz
Status CPU Socket Populated, Enabled
Processor Upgrade ZIF Socket
Serial Number
Asset Tag Unspecified
Part Number Unspecified

***can this be "bumped up " (overclocked) a bit to maybe 3.5ghz without any significant ill effects?...i have already installed 2 additional fans in the case for the stock system. if so, what would be the best way to do it and WHAT would need to be bumped up?...thanks again.

The processor itself probably could be overclocked to 3.5ghz just fine. However, you've got it in a Dell, so no. Dell's have thier BIOS locked, so you can't change any of those settings. In order to OC, you'd need to buy another mobo, and pretty much rebuild the computer. However, that too wouldn't work most likely, because all of your Dell hardware probably wouldn't either be compatiable with the new mobo, or just plain wouldn't work (for various other reasons). So your options are this: not touch it, or buy a new computer.
